About Tax Year Calc
An independent reference for the numbers of the federal tax year, published by Radif Partners.
Why the site exists
Every autumn the IRS publishes a revenue procedure of some forty pages that resets the brackets, the standard deduction, the credits and dozens of limits for the coming year. In July 2025 a new law, Public Law 119-21, added four deductions with their own caps and phase-outs, rewrote the SALT cap and changed figures of a year already half over. The articles that rank first for these questions list the numbers; they rarely tell a reader where his own income lands, what the overtime deduction is worth after the phase-out and his bracket, or on which day a refund filed on a given date should arrive.
This site puts each figure of the year inside a calculator that answers that question, and it does better than the first search result on three points: the 2026 and 2025 figures side by side, an exact computation that follows the lines of the IRS forms, and a citation of the paragraph that sets each number. When official documents disagree, it says which one it follows and why.
Who publishes it
Radif Partners is a company that designs free calculators on public rules. It is not a tax preparer, a law firm or an affiliate of the IRS, and it does not sell returns, refund advances or software. The site has no advertising today and collects no personal data; if advertising is ever added, it will never sit above a calculator and this page will say so.
How the figures are kept right
Every amount was compared with its source on October 11, 2026: $16,100 for the 2026 single standard deduction comes from Rev. Proc. 2025-32 section 4.14, the $40,400 SALT cap from section 70120 of the statute, the $24,500 401(k) limit from Notice 2025-67. Automated tests recompute the IRS tables before each release. The method page explains each formula and lists what the calculators leave out, and the editorial policy says when pages are reviewed: when the IRS publishes the next year's adjustments, when a law or a form changes, and at least once a year.
Report an error
If a figure on a page does not match the IRS document cited under it, write through the contact page with the address of the page and the line of the document. Corrections are published with their date. Please never send a Social Security number, a return or an IRS notice: the questioned figure is enough.

Estimate only: these figures apply the amounts the IRS publishes to the numbers you enter. They are not tax advice, and the return the IRS processes is the one that counts.
